RE: Proposed Credo page
I thought the voting system was anonymous! You gave away James's vote!

But back to the point. I agree with Kenny. I don't believe that a three letter acronym for every credo is a good idea for the simple reason that we are going to have so many credo that later on, we'll be struggling to find acronyms that aren't already taken.

The random numbers currently provided are random simply to avoid any sense of heirarchy. No one credo is more important than any other. I find this an acceptable system.

RE: Proposed Credo page
the voting isn't meant to be anonymous. can you not see the "show results" link beneath the poll? I have ticked the option in the poll set up that says: Public Poll: Give users the ability to see which user voted on which option(s). Let me know if you can't see it, perhaps it is a glitch.

I THINK IF EVER THERE IS A VOTING EVEN TO BY THE PUBLIC , LET THE SYSTEM BE PROVIDED WITH THE EMAIL ID OF THAT PERSON FOR MAKING SURE THAT IT IS A REAL IDENTITY AND NOT A PROGRAM
WHEREAS IT WILL SURELY GIVE US A CHANCE TO IMPROVE OUR MEMBERSHIP GOALS---SINCE AS MANY EMAIL IDS ---WE CAN ATLEAST SEND THEM THE INTRO---OR PROPOSAL FOR BEING A PART OF THIS COMMUNITY---WHAT DO U THINK?

RE: Proposed Credo page
amandeep,

You raise some good points.

I believe voting will be limited to members of IWF only. If voting happens here in the forum, with registered members, I think we've solved a big part of the problem right there. If needed, I believe this bulletin board is even capable of logging and tracking IP numbers of visitors or potential voters, so in that way if there is a question about someone's real identity, that might be a potential tool to ensure that someone is who they say they are.
