What is silence?

Is it quietness? Or is it more than just quietness? Is it no noise at all? Is it almost audible or noticeable? Is it achieveable? Can one be more than silent?

A lot of queries about a very mysterious state of being.

Is physical reality, which is dense & heavy, GREATER than silence? i.e. is it so silent it has become MASS?

Any thoughts or revelations?

Silence is a state of mind. Meditation is how I achieve silence. Physical reality isn't greater than or less than silence it is an aid for finding silence.
