Let me guess... you've moved to Nashville and are trying to make it in the music biz? That would be a strange coincedence, because someone called me 2 days ago about playing rhythm for them on a project in Nashville too.
btw... I live in Maryville. It's about 30 minutes from Knoxville and about 25 minutes from the Smoky Mtn nat'l park border. Pretty good location, I must say. I got married in 2005, and we actually went camping last year. Enjoyed it so much, I just loaded up on new camping gear and look forward to this spring and summer.
Oh well... it's good to cross paths with you and jesterdood again. It will be interesting to see what 5 years has done to our views!
Hey Doug, welcome to our little community. Things are quiet here as yet. We hope to get the ball rolling here in the coming months. The main thing I'm seeing I need to do is to get us registered as a legitimate non profit organization, then to get us advertised with volunteer organizations in order to get people in here. Also, once we're registered we should be able to get a free host for iwfi.org you may have noticed it's temporarily parked at my site.

Well, hope you stick around. As I said, it's quiet at the moment. We've had a bit of action in the last month or two since this forum has been up, but not alot. Still need to do some dissemination. Nashville can be tough, so hang in there. Most leave after awhile with their tails between their legs. If I come there and play, I'll give you a buzz and we'll meet up. I'd like to jam with you or something. I play only acoustic now. I'm down to 2 Martins. (I sold all the good ones when I got married... D-41 and all!)
I'm leaving home tomorrow for a week... me and my wife will be house-sitting for one of my clients at her house on the lake. I love it when that happens. :)
